Many women experience tenderness and pain in their breasts during menstruation. Often times, this pain is associated with the different hormone levels that occur during a woman’s period. However, if you are experiencing pain in your breasts or under your arm and you are not on your period, it could be a sign that something else is wrong.
This pain may be dull and achy or sharp and stabbing. If there is any type of pain in your breast or underarm that is not caused by exercise, injury, or from your period, it could be a symptom of breast cancer.
