2. Straining During Urination
The prostate wraps around the urethra at the end of the bladder. When the prostate is swollen or if there are tumors in the prostate, it can put a lot of pressure on the urethra. This may make it difficult to urinate at all.
The stream of urine may be diminished or possibly even be a dribble instead of the normal strong stream. If there is a struggle to begin urination, it can be a sign that there is an issue with the prostate and it is important to make sure that it is checked out by your doctor.
